Role provides execution and strategic direction to the QA Organization and QA Partner Organizations to assure delivery of key strategic programs for MetLife EAD. Job Scope includes managing a global QA organization responsible for testing Big Data and Analytics, Core Function, Non-Functional Solutions, and driving expanded implementation of automation and test data management solutions.
Directs, manages, plans and administers activities of the QA Organization for complex programs
Delivers full people management responsibility including hiring, terminations, promotions, performance, compensation management, and training and development.
Collaborates across partner organizations to assure effective organizational practices in SDLC improvements and risk management.
Assures organizational management systems are in place which enable clarity in approach and status
Demonstrates expertise identifying and addressing QA solutions for program achievement and QA maturity
Strong record of leading and delivering large, complex programs with a global QA team
10-15 years of experience in QA and IT with a minimum of 5 years management experience
Accomplished organizational change leader within an IT organization
Demonstrated results in expanding automation and test data management services
Undergraduate degree required, MBA or other advanced degree preferred
