This position will serve as the Director, Training and Awareness, for the Global Compliance and Risk Management team. The successful candidate will lead the global compliance training strategy and any compliance training initiatives to establish the importance of ethics, integrity and compliance for Shire. The candidate will focus on the design, development and implementation of an interactive global compliance training program for our global population. The position will report to the Head, Compliance Operations, GCRM.

Education & Experience Requirements:
. Bachelor's degree or country equivalent required; law degree from a recognized institution preferred
. Minimum 3 years of experience working in a compliance department
. Strong knowledge in global healthcare compliance laws and regulations is required:
1. Knowledge and experience with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, UK Bribery Act and/or
any similar anti-corruption rules and regulations.
2. Strong training background is required:
a. Experience building and deploying training activities to a global audience, including but not limited to, a training curriculum, elearning modules, live workshops, etc.
b. Experience in coordinating and validating training activities with process teams and subject matter experts
c. Knowledge of learning management activities and operating learning management systems (LMS) and using training applications such as Articulate Storyline required
d. Ability to develop various training materials, tailoring training content to various audiences, and supporting the training certification process required
