Manages the recovery and response for several IT functional areas (e.g., data, systems, network and/or Web) across the enterprise. Assists in the development, testing, and execution of recovery plans and processes (e.g., plan creation, schedule reviews and exercises, perform gap analysis, and identify risks).
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
Prepares status reports on security matters to help develop security risk analysis scenarios and response procedures
Translates high level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manages changes to such specifications
Responsible for the tracking and monitoring of compliance to IT standards; consults necessary workgroups
Enforces security policies and procedures by administering and monitoring security profiles
Involved in the evaluation of products and/or procedures to enhance productivity and effectiveness
Provides direct support to customers, business and IT staff for service continuity related issues.
Educates customers, business and IT staff about Disaster Recovery policies and consults on recovery issues regarding recovery support processes and functions.
Collects and compiles data and generates reports and provides qualitative analysis
Create and activate Emergency Notification System alerts in support of readiness and recovery efforts.
Participates in on-call rotation
Works cross-functionally to ensure solutions meet the needs of the enterprise
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Familiar with current IT issues and Data Center standards
IT or Security Alert Response
Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity planning experience
Policy compliance tracking, monitoring, and education
Fusion Framework administration or SalesForce administration experience
BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience
Related Work Experience
3 to 5 years of combined IT and security work experience with a broad range of exposure to systems analysis and applications configuration across a large (Fortune 500-level) enterprise, database design and administration
1 to 2 years of experience with Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery
