Disbursement Control Support Specialist
Atlanta, GA

Position Overview
Responsibilities for the Disbursement Control Support Specialist position will include daily execution of the check distribution process; reconciliation of physical check stock; management of returned check, vendor levy and fraudulent checks processes; execution of assigned internal control reviews; supporting cash receipts, bank reconciliation and client case resolution processes; preparation of accounting entries to properly record business and financial transactions; maintenance of current desk procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Update daily check log and reconcile to check register
  • Prepare and route checks to mail room
  • Action special handling check requests
  • Processing of returned checked
  • Prepare and send notifications of returned checks to internal clients
  • Prepare and issue quarterly RTC reports to business managers
  • Processing of check payment cancellations
  • Processing of levies
  • Processing of fraud notices
  • Support resolution of items posted to AP Suspense account
  • Resolution of manual blocks
  • Support resolution of Lv12 cases
E ducation: High School Diploma (College Degree Preferred)
Related Experience: 1+ years' experience; AP experience preferred
