My client is a regional telecommunications company successfully providing a broad range of telecommunication solutions for over 100 years. Myclient also is the leader in providing rural communities with access to the same level of telecommunications services as those found anywhere else in the US. With operations in multiple states, they provide wireline and wireless telephone, Cable TV, and Internet. In addition ,they own and operate the more than 500 towers that comprise wireless network and employ the teams who work in stores and operate the wireless network.
We are looking for an Area Manager to drive uperior customer service, close sales and drive the successfor 6 (now), 10 ( eventually) retail stores. A knowledge and prior background in Telecommunications products and services, People Management and Sales is required.
Achieves and maintains sales and revenue targets as established.
Hires, trains, motivates and manages retail store sales force to meet sales objectives.
Acts as the sales point of contact for all retail stores for Marketing, Training and Operations.
Able to manage time effectively to support multiple remote locations accross a large geographic territory.
Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field is required.
Experience: 10 years of sales experience in consumer products, wireless preferred.
Proven record of hiring, training, motivating sales professionals. Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
