This includes Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont , New England, and New York. The District Manager (DM) will:

 
  • Manage a team of field based Hematologic Malignancies Sales Specialists who will plan and execute territory business plans for breakthrough products in Hematologic Malignancies.
  • Demonstrate the ability to leverage business and clinical expertise to strategically plan and guide team direction to deliver sales results within an assigned budget.
  • Possess strong leadership skills and create a high-performing, motivated and engaged team while fostering individual talent and managing performance.
  • Demonstrate ability to connect with internal and external customers and find ways to shape our business to help the appropriate patients.
  • Work in the field with minimal supervision, adapt quickly to changing environment and demonstrate understanding of pharmaceutical/biotech regulatory and promotional guidelines.
  • Report to the Region Business Director, East.
 


Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree. 
  • A minimum of two (2) years of successful management and/or supervisory experience or completion of a J&J Management Development Program is required. 
  • A minimum of five (5) years of documented successful pharmaceutical, biologic/biotech, or medical device sales experience in a competitive environment is also required. 
  • Experience in Oncology, Hematologic Maliginancy, hospital and/or large account sales, and managing through complex reimbursement issues are strongly preferred.    
  • A valid driver's license issued in one of the fifty (50) United States and willingness to travel as needed or required, up to 80%; which may include overnight/weekend travel are required.
  • Ability to satisfy reasonable credentialing requirements, including, but not limited to TB tests, Hepatitis B vaccine, MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) and Varicella (chicken pox) is required.
  • Candidates are required to submit to annual background checks by Janssen Biotech, Inc.
