, including asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), with a range of differentiated potential medicines in development by leveraging novel combinations, biologics and devices. The pipeline also has a number of promising assets in inflammatory and autoimmune diseases within areas such as psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, gout, systemic lupus and rheumatoid arthritisMain Duties and Responsibilities
The Respiratory Biologics District Sales Manager (DSM) provides inspirational leadership and direction to Biotech Sales Specialists (BSS) in order to successfully achieve performance objectives. This role requires strong people leadership acumen in order to develop a high performance team through effective coaching and mentoring in a highly competitive environment, demonstrates strong understanding of the reimbursement and distribution challenges of a biologics product in order to take a strategic approach to capitalize on marketplace opportunities. This role requires strong interpersonal and communication abilities resulting in collaboration across functional areas to drive win/win outcomes that align to organizational objectives.
You will actively seek to discover and meet the needs of internal and external customers by building relationships, identifying strategic business opportunities and delivering innovative solutions. You will manage multiple priorities and resources related to individual and group efforts. You will be expected to create a motivating team culture which encourages continued growth and provides consistent recognition while challenging the team for continuous self-development in their current role and for future opportunities. You will take responsibility for redirecting efforts as needed to deliver high productivity and quality of work from self and others. You will be asked to demonstrate strong business ethics, understand basic business principles and interpret resources available to make sound business decision to help achieve standards of business excellence.
As this is a newly formed, and growing team, you will also be a proactive talent scout for the organization with proven experience attracting, developing and retain talent.Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of people management experience
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience with track record of strong performance
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, financial management and written & oral communications skills.
- Experience launching new products

- Previous respiratory, respiratory biologics, biologics or specialty care experience with existing relationships with HCPs.
- Demonstrated experience and mastery in delivering a total office call
- Understanding of the reimbursement and distribution challenges of a biologics product
- Previous exposure and/or experience in other functional areas of the business, i.e., Sales Training, Customer Solutions, Sales Operations, Managed Care and Marketing.
