General Statement of Duties:
The Division Director Apheresis/Dialysis oversees the operations of the Dialysis departments at all MHS facilities with in-house Dialysis services. Works in conjunction with Facility Directors overseeing Dialysis Units to coordinate staffing, services, quality and finance. The Division Director Apheresis/Dialysis ensures that departmental policies and procedures are in compliance with regulatory agencies and directs the operation. Division Director - Apheresis/Dialysis recommends budget and staffing plans for administrative approval and manages the ongoing implementation of approved plans.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education, Experience, Training, Required Knowledge, Skill, Abilities and Other Job-Related Characteristics:

Education:

Graduate of an accredited program of nursing; associate degree or baccalaureate program.

Experience : All of the following:

1) 5 year experience in an apheresis unit

2) 5 year management experience

Employee completes initial and ongoing training and competencies as defined by service line, system and department/unit which are specific to the needs of the patient population served (if applicable).

Preferred:
Bachelor degree in nursing preferred, Master's degree highly preferred.

Minimum License, Certificates, or Registrations Required:
Must have current RN license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas.
