Title: Document Control Administrator

Job Purpose:
Document Control Administrator is responsible for performing analysis and documentation of company processes to ensure ongoing compliance to Company's business systems, ISO 9001, 14001 and TS16949. Perform administrative and document control duties for Production Engineering and Quality Engineering departments.

Responsibilities:

• Create, revise, and control company procedures and department job instructions and forms
• Create flow diagrams to support process documentation
• Maintain departmental training matrices
• Maintain production engineering and quality department records in support of business systems (e.g., ISO 9001, 14001, & TS16949)
• Process Production Engineering documentation (e.g., software releases, rework instructions, control plans, etc.)
• Perform administrative duties (e.g., creating graphs, charts, and presentations)

Education:
Required:
• High School diploma or equivalent combination of education (GED) and years of relevant experience

Experience & Business Skills:
Required:

• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Knowledge of process mapping to develop procedures and job instructions
• Knowledge of design, format, and style for various types of documentation
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements, specifically document control
• Knowledge of methods and techniques of composing technical and business graphs, charts, tables and other graphic displays.
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Strong analytical, innovative problem-solving, time management and planning skills
• Detail oriented with strong interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Intermediate level expertise in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)
• Intermediate level expertise with flowcharting software (i.e., Visio)

Preferred:

• Associate Degree or above
• Familiar with TS16949 and ISO 14001 standards
• Experience in technical writing
• Working knowledge of manufacturing documentation (e.g., control plans, engineering specifications, drawings, PFMEA, process flows, etc.)
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Certification
