+ Provide technical skilled level support for the product line(s), technical selling, key field product application, well prognosis, and/or completion product performance.
+ Support will include field testing, post action reviews, and defining procedures for future deployments.
+ This position will use engineering principles combined with experience to design fit-for-purpose application specific drilling solution to our clients.
+ Skills will be utilized to acquire greater market share through means of client interaction in a highly technical environment.
+ Assists with prototype tool applications and new product market introductions.
+ This position will focus a large share of time to the deployment and application design for new breakthrough technologies.
+ Will assist sales teams to set pricing on a performance basis.
+ Investigates unusual or unsatisfactory product performance to determine root cause and preventative action.
+ Will work as part of a broader team to analyze drilling dysfunctions related to low performance and/or failure of down-hole drilling technologies.
+ Will identify root cause and develop procedures/policies as preventative measures.
+ Will promote a technical level of expertise to less experienced personnel within the region.
+ Will assist in carrying out the goals of the organization and various levels of management throughout the year.
+ Will use experience and acquired skills to work across product line as needed.
+ Handles special projects, as assigned.
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
+ 3+ years related experience in drilling engineering and/or field operations combined.
+ Thorough understanding of downhole hydraulics and rig operations.
+ Advanced PC skills.
+ Proficient use of computer based programs related to application of products.
+ Strong math and problem solving skills.
+ Highly skilled level knowledge of two or more product lines and proper application of tools.
+ Understanding of downhole hydraulics, torque and drag, and overall rig operations.
+ Field experience with either the Drilling or Drill Bit product lines is desired
+ Strong personal and technical skills.
+ Experience in programing languages related to data analytics and process automation is preferred. Ex: VBA, MATLAB, C++.
+ 5+ years related experience in drilling engineering and/or field operations combined is preferred.
