Roles & Responsibilities:

The Ear, Nose and Throat - ENT Tech assists with all Otolaryngology procedures.
• Prepares, position, transfers and informs patient.
• Responsible for care, handling and processing of endoscopy procedural equipment and turnover of the procedural rooms.
• Documents and maintains records of examination/procedures.
• Performs assigned room cleanup tasks including disposal, cleaning, inventory and restocking of supplies and equipment.
• Collects, prepares and labels specimens during procedures.
• Sets up the sterile supplies, local anesthetics, contrast materials, and other required equipment.
Licensure/Certification/Registration : CPR Certification required

Education: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in Otolaryngology required. At least 1 year of Otolaryngology physician office experience required.

Special qualifications : Must be able to successfully complete established competencies for the position within designated probationary period.

Hours of work : Monday -Friday 8AM-5PM. On call on weekends and holidays
