Now that you have your MBA and some relevant business experience, it’s time to take your career to the next level. Our Global Leadership Development Program (GLDP), for Masters of Business Administration graduates is the right place to get started. Eaton’s GLDP program provides challenging cross-functional, cross-business assignments offered during two, one-year rotational assignments. This program was created to develop Eaton’s future General Managers.
Graduates of the program are prepared for management level roles in supply chain, sales, operations excellence, manufacturing operations, and product line management.
Alumni of the program hold a variety of functional leadership positions including Acquisition Integration, International Sales, Plant and Operations Management, Business Development, Product Management, Global Marketing, Customer Support, General Manager, and Vice President.
As a participant, you will complete two assignments, each approximately one year in length. Assignments may include roles in supply chain, product marketing, business development and/or manufacturing operations. As a member of this dynamic program you will be provided plenty of opportunities to network and build relationships with various business leaders throughout the organization.
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements):
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management, or other technical discipline from an accredited college or university
- A minimum of 2-years, previous managerial or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Manufacturing environment experience
- Strong business and financial acumen – understands how business works and understands the key drivers of profitability and growth
- Financial analysis, negotiation, project and/or program management. A track record of driving execution, delivering results, and cope with ambiguity
- Ability to inspire others
- Strong history of job progression and promotions
- Global experience
- Desire to build careers in areas including general management (plant, program, product or operations management) marketing, sales, business development, or strategy.
- Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills
