The purpose of the Ecommerce Digital Innovation Lab is to be a customer focused digital lab, producing digital products that drive tangible impact to our customer's ecommerce business in three key areas:
- Enabling PepsiCo to improve access to data from our customers that we can use to spur our own growth/share in ecommerce.
- Improving the path to purchase at PepsiCo eCommerce customers, especially to drive impulse.
- Providing unique legitimacy and expertise to our customers in the area of ecommerce
All efforts will have an ultimate goal of driving growth of PepsiCo's share online as well as helping our customers accelerate eCommerce growth.
Initially focused on the US market, the Digital Innovation Lab shall be made up of a team of multi-skilled talent, including highest caliber product managers, software engineers and digital designers. As the team and projects develop we will leverage contract and permanent talent. We will structure the lab in a way, such that once proven successful we can replicate the model in other ecommerce key regions globally over time.Senior Fullstack Software Engineering Leader:
We are a large food/beverage company looking for a senior fullstack software engineering leader to join our new ecommerce digital innovation lab. We are looking for an exceptional fullstack engineer with experience building and leading engineering teams to help ideate, design and build cutting edge technology projects related to ecommerce based in our beautiful office near Grand Central in NYC. What You Will Be Doing:
Working closely with our top design team, as our lead engineer you will help build out a digital innovation team and help architect and prototype a wide range of ecommerce related, cutting edge technical projects. You will be helping to hire and manage a team of world class engineers to build out a range of ecommerce related projects in cutting edge technologies. Qualifications/Requirements What We Are Looking For:
Background: The ideal candidate will have a strong computer science academic and at least 5 years professional software engineering experience, with at least two of those years leading teams engineering teams. Startup experience at an engineering leadership level would be great and an extensive visible body of code/projects to talk through is also desired. A history of contributing to open source projects would also be desirable.Capabilities:
