The Advanced Software Division within Dell EMC is building an innovative product called the Elastic Cloud Storage (ECS) that will define what the next generation of cloud computing solutions will look like, and enable the organizations to efficiently address rapidly expanding data requirements.
We are looking for a talented Release Program Manager to help develop this new product. This is a unique and rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor and help shape the technology and the product. Building a large scale reliable distributed storage system is quite exciting and requires sound understanding of fundamentals of computer science. We are seeking people passionate about cloud technologies including Big Data, Hadoop, etc. and working in an ambitious and highly visible product group.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in program and project management, processes and tools. Excellent communication skills, a self-starter, self-directed, individual who works well in a remote setting, demonstrates facilitation skills and have experience working with international teams. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of success as a leader with outstanding collaboration skills across various departments to achieve mutual success.
Critical Hiring Criteria:
+ Passion for cloud computing and distributed systems.
+ Several years’ experience delivering large program, project and readiness efforts, executing readiness strategies and frameworks, defining readiness/project/program plans and executing on those plans to deliver business results.
+ Proven communication skills and ability to effectively influence colleagues and management.
+ Demonstrated ability to deliver results, meeting and exceeding expectations.
+ Skills in problem resolution, team building, negotiation, dealing with ambiguity, influencing others to achieve results, establishing effective processes, tracking results and support systems.
