Responsibilities:

The EEG Technician is specially trained to perform EEG's for the diagnosis and treatment of Neurology disorders. Trained in the use of specialized equipment to record, monitor and analyze various physiological parameters in EEG including recognition and appropriate response to critical events such as cardiac arrhythmias, seizure disorders and other medical emergencies. Performs direct patient care with ability to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment, as well as provide patient education for the Neurology patient. This Technician also supports the Sleep Center in functions that are necessary for the scheduling, confirming, and planning events that are needed
Qualifications:
• EEG and or Polysomnography experience required; a minimum 18 months experience preferred, but will consider less. American Heart Association or Red Cross BLS certification required.
