Adecco is currently assisting a local client in Knightdale, NC in their search to fill an Electrical Assembler position. This is temp-to-hire role. We are looking for an Assembler to perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production to put together component parts to make assemblies, sub-assemblies or completed units, using standard operating procedures. To be successful in this role, you will assemble a variety of non-complex assemblies, sub-assemblies and simple rework of printed circuit boards. This is routine work and you must have extensive wiring knowledge, assembly procedure knowledge, testing, ability to handle very small parts on a PCB line, etc.
Under direct supervision uses engineering drawings and standard methods to determine correct sequences of assembly procedures and methodology.
Receives detailed instructions on assignments.
Use of small hand tools, fixtures and soldering wire and FET¿s.
Performs assembly operations to acceptable workmanship standards.
Keeps work area neat and orderly, 6S.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Operates simple machines, prep equipment.
Successfully obtain certified operator certification.
Capable of performing lugging, crimping and harnessing tasks.
Observes all safety rules and policies.
Minimum Education High school diploma
1-3 year in related field.
Must have Electronic assembly experience.
Receptive and helpful attitude
Resistor color code, component recognition and basic math.
Read engineering drawings, OP sheets and BOMs.
English, oral, reading and writing.
High school or equivalent
Electrical Assembly: 1 year
