An Electrical Commissioning Authority job is available in Baltimore, MD courtesy of Adecco Engineering & Technology. You must have 7 years of Electrical Engineering/commissioning experience and a minimum of 3 years mission critical design/commissioning experience. You will have a deep understanding of facilities design, electrical control systems, static transfer switches, associated switchgear, Power facilities, power engineering, mechanical facilities start-up, operations and testing.
Electrical Commissioning Job Duties:

Act as mentor to staff
Interact with company engineering and design staff
Provide technical leadership
Identify technical issues and initiatives to be addressed by the department
Participate in technical investigation, research and evaluation activities of the department
Establish technical standards for departmental activities
Assist in develop and manage quality control process
Act as resource in resolution of specific technical issues
Participate in management of departmental staff resources
Manage project assignments
Define appropriate project deliverables based on available manpower, budget, and schedule
Assist in fulfillment of deliverables as appropriate
Stamp and seal documents as appropriate
Assist with management of external resources
Support departmental process improvement initiatives
Identify and define process improvement needs and deliverables
Assist and/or lead in content creation, evaluation, documentation
Field Commissioning Authority has responsibility for executing the Responsibilities: following field duties:
Schedule, plan, orchestrate and manage intricate segments of the commissioning and disaster recovery projects which may include a variety of complex features.
Participate in daily commissioning activity meetings and provide test procedure execution evaluations.
Interface with project contractors, vendors, and testing technicians.
Compilation of all testing procedure results.
Perform engineering design reviews, prepare commissioning test procedures and reports, direct client-site testing and manage the training of on-site staff.
PE license (or ability to obtain)
Commissioning Authority (CxA) Certification (or ability to obtain)
Min. 7 years of Electrical engineering/commissioning experience
Min. 3 years mission critical design/commissioning experience
Possesses a deep understanding of facilities design, electrical control systems, static transfer switches, associated switchgear, Power facilities, power engineering, mechanical facilities start-up, operations and testing.
An executive presence and the ability to deal regularly with demanding clients and high-pressure situations in a critical environment.
US Citizen preferred
Government security clearance or ability/willingness to apply for one
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Able to manage your time and the time of others efficiently and meet deadlines
Strong networking skills within the industry
Experienced using Microsoft Word and Excel
Willing to travel
