Adecco Direct Placement is currently recruiting candidates for a direct hire Electrical Engineer Job in Saxonburg, PA for our client, a manufacturer of state of the art sensing products in a growing business vertical. We are seeking candidates with a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering and four to six (4-6) years of hands-on experience designing, developing, testing and fabricating new electronic products. We are seeking candidates with leadership skills, not afraid to try new methodologies, and are adaptable. Our client offers a starting salary between $75,000 and $85,000 and a comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities for the Electrical Engineer Job in Saxonburg, PA:
-Actively participate in design, implementation, verification, validation and documentation of prototype, pilot, and production designs.
-Conduct tests, experiments, and characterization of prototypes. Document results, investigate unusual performance, and compile and publish reports.
-Revise prototype designs for manufacturability and release to production.
-Provide trouble shooting for existing products, designs, and test fixtures.
-Coordinate development efforts with firmware and software developers.
-Minimum MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering. Bachelors Degree may be accepted with experience that is comparable to the clients field
-Four to Six (4 - 6) years of experience in circuit design including requirements specification, board design and layout, prototyping, troubleshooting, revision, component procurement, and assembly.
-Hands on experience with electronic test setups and fixtures for testing electronic devices.
-Hands on experience testing and validating electronic circuit designs.
-Electrical engineering and electronics development methodologies including design for quality and manufacturability.
-Expert knowledge of analog and digital electronics design.
-Expert knowledge of PCB design tools such as OrCAD or Altium.
-Knowledge of embedded and SOC systems.
-Ability to operate oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal/function generators, multimeters, data acquisition cards, and bench top power supplies.
-Proficiency in trouble shooting and repair of mixed analog/digital systems.
-Self-motivated with attention to detail. Clean, neat, and organized work habits.
-Interrogative with desire for lifelong learning.
-Familiarity with placing wafer level orders of custom ASICs.
-VHDL and/or C language programming.
-Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident, authorized to work in the United States.
