Help in the manufacturability of new designs of electrical, refrigeration, and mechanical systems for HVAC units. Assisting drafters in developing the structural design of products using AutoCAD and Solidworks. Work with engineers, production workers, and outside suppliers to resolve issues. Mechanical Drafting, Design, or Engineering Technology technical degree or equivalent. 4+ yrs of experience. Good AutoCAD and/or Solidworks knowledge and skills. Electrical panels building and controls knowledge. Refrigeration systems background. Performing mechanical engineering calculations is a plus. Design for sheet metal fabrication is a plus. Must be responsible, personable, and have a good work ethic. Detail-oriented, ability to plan, organize, set priorities and manage multiple projects. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, like using Excel to create charts and perform mathematical calculations. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Light travel based on business needs. Ability to lift (infrequently and when needed) parts weighing 25 - 50 lbs.
