You will establish and complete Preventive, Predictive, and Corrective Maintenance plans for the plants electrical and control systems, as well as perform additional mechanical Preventive Maintenance and repairs. You will also participate in projects that span the spectrum of electrical, PLC’s/controls, pneumatic, hydraulic, and welding.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PLC programs
PLC program edits and troubleshooting of control systems
Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, alterations, and additions to the manufacturing and office systems
Operate equipment when necessary
Installation of mechanical equipment and control systems
Perform all other duties as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum):
Education: 2 year diploma in Industrial Electricity, equivalent Military training or Journeyman certificate, and 3 years work experience. Formal Allen Bradley PLC training and NEC certification preferred.
In lieu of above educational requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent, and completion of an Apprenticeship program, AND 5+ years of industrial electrical and controls work.
