An Emergency Repair Facility Maintenance Technician job in St. Mary's, OH is available courtesy of Modis Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and have an operating knowledge of precision measuring instruments, gauges, test equipment, and reading or blueprints and schematics. The Emergency Repair Facility Maintenance Technician job will perform layout installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of electronic and robotic systems/equipment as well as performing some building-trade tasks, like carpentry and plumbing. The Emergency Repair Facility Maintenance Technician job will also complete work orders and communicate to the First Line Supervisor about 5W1H report investigations.
Emergency Repair Facility Maintenance Technician Job Responsibilities:
-The Machine Repair Technician will be operating electrical measuring instruments and testing devices in performing layout, installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of machinery, equipment, and facilities
-Operating power and hand tools, welding and fabricating equipment in regards to installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical machinery and equipment
-Perform layout installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of electronic and robotic systems and equipment.
-Performing some building-trade tasks occasionally, including but not limited to: carpentry; plumbing; sheet metal fabrication for installation, maintenance, and repair of water, sanitary, and safety/security equipment and their systems.
-Performing timely preventative maintenance as scheduled and compiling necessary documentation.
-Completing work orders and reporting 5W1H investigations to First Line Supervisor
-Participating and contributing to continuous improvement projects
-Performing other tasks assigned by First Line Supervisor or Maintenance Supervisor
-Minimum high school diploma/GED
-Vocational training strongly preferred
-Valid motor vehicle operator license required
-Operational knowledge of precision measuring instruments, gauges, test equipment, and reading blueprints and/or schematics
-Working knowledge of motors, mechanical equipment, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, carpentry, plumbing, sheet metal fabrication, and personal computer operations is imperative
-Working knowledge of 440 or 480 three-phase electrical systems, electronics, PLCs, robotics, and welding is a bonus
