Provide quality care to patients under the direction of a licensed nurse, in accordance with the philosophy, goals, and objectives of CMC. Demonstrates knowledge and application of intermediate patient care, to include vital signs, venipuncture, urinary catheterization, cardiac monitoring, and 12 lead EKG. Monitors and documents information regarding patient activities, as directed by the Registered Nurse.
Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Licensure/Certification: EMT-B certificate from State of Georgia, Georgia Certified Nursing Assistants license, Medical Assistant or Military Medic/Corpsman training preferred. BLS - AHA Healthcare Provider. CPI training within 90 days of hire.
Experience: Emergency medical services preferred. Previous experience as a unit secretary and/or cardiac monitoring preferred.
