Job Summary

Robert Half is seeking an Employee Communications Coordinator to be responsible for myriad functions to support the internal communications team, including coordination of information as it relates to upcoming rollouts; scheduling communications via the global calendar to ensure executive and department visibility; collaborating with other teams to determine proper distribution lists and, ultimately, sending communication on behalf of various departments and teams; and managing information on a key intranet site. A successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent project management and communication skills, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Employee Communications Coordinator also will be responsible for monitoring several project mailboxes. Note: this position is expected to end in February 2017.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Determining with the business accurate distribution lists, and maintaining them, as necessary; scheduling and maintaining communication on the global calendar; routing for approvals; testing, troubleshooting and sending final emails.

  • Working with Business Transformation team to update, modify and manage content on Launchpad site, including glossary, training links and alert information.
  • Collaborating with international team to ensure global focus.
  • Manage discussion board.
  • Together with Senior Employee Communications Specialist - Business Transformation, attend meetings to keep up to date on rollouts, communication needs; create workflow so that key updates are pulled through all related materials; maintain email template library.

  • Write, proofread and edit content as an additional resource for Senior Employee Communications Specialist - Business Transformation.


  • AA required, BA/BS preferred

  • 2+ years experience in corporate communications, public relations or similar experience.
  • Previous experience in developing appropriate content to engage target audiences.
  • Excellent grammar, spelling, copyediting and proofreading skills.
  • Outstanding judgment and interpersonal skills.
  • Must communicate effectively and persuasively with all levels of the organization.
  • Detailed and customer-service oriented; works well in team environment.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and demonstrates creativity, flexibility and proactive approach to work; strong analytic and problem-solving and organizational skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); SharePoint experience a plus.
