Job Description: This position will be responsible for a comprehensive approach to tax planning and compliance, advising various departments like HR, Compensation and Benefits, Finance, Stock, Staffing, Tax, and Business groups to effectively control risk and ensure compliance in this area.

Act as a strategic tax advisor to business owners by engaging with HR, Finance, and employees to effectively control risk and drive regulatory, and overall tax compliance requirements for compensation and benefits issues. Monitor, Research and analyze complex U.S. and foreign tax issues and develop quality, practical tax solutions. Perform other assigned U.S. and international taxation responsibilities as required including various special projects. represent company during employment tax audits, and advise management regarding business, internal programs, and activities as they relate to tax matters. Coordinate and manage tax service providers globally. Create and improve processes which result in effective and efficient management of various projects. Identify and execute on savings and synergies.
Qualifications:


To succeed in this position the best candidate needs to have:
Strong knowledge of employment and benefits tax laws worldwide and the ability to partner with external vendors in order to successfully coordinate global tax support for Intel and its subsidiaries.
Generic understanding of payroll systems and HR function.
Thorough understanding of the mechanics of various equity plans.
Proven expertise in the management of employment tax for multinational company. Eager to apply best practice/ continuous improvement principles.
Comfortable interacting with senior executives.
Positive approach and a " can do" mentality.
Stong knowledge of income, social, and withholding tax including social security and income tax treaties
Strong knowledge of mobility tax accruals, cost allocation and budgeting
Understanding of global mobility and benefits tax compliance and risk management

Minimum Qualifications:
Degree level education in Accounting or Finance with a CPA, EA, MST or JD
12 to 15 years of relevant tax experience
