To assist in the development of new or improved processes for existing products and to assist in the development of new products and their associated manufacturing processes.

Primary Accountabilities

1.Assist in identifying opportunities for change and realizing successful change in existing operations to attain quality, cost, and production requirements

2.Demonstrate knowledge of all equipment and processes in the areas of responsibility

3.Effectively and efficiently assist/lead efforts in product/process design. Coordinate detailed design efforts on process fixturing modifications and on directed product changes. Provide design support to overall Manufacturing Engineering efforts.

4.Provide support to engineering and manufacturing areas to realize Continuous Improvement objectives.

5.Perform detailed analysis of problems and define and execute plans to implement change. Trouble shoot operations to identify root causes of production problems.

6.Audit operations to ensure personnel are in compliance with defined methods of operation. Assist in training personnel in specialized skills required to achieve success in the area

Minimum requirements Education:
Bachelor of Science in a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university.

Experience:
3 - 5 years in a manufacturing environment in a technical or engineering role.
