The Dell Commerce Services Group (DCS) builds and operates the global Dell Commerce Platform that powers Dell.com, which receives over 1 billion page views per year, across 150 countries, and is googled more than 1 million times per day. The commerce platform provides a cohesive digital experience across all customer segments, product lines, and selling channels. Dell is evolving this commerce platform to achieve the following goals: + Establish a modern global-first, cloud-first, omni-channel, open, and participative commerce platform/ecosystem. + Enable new capabilities, and seamless user experiences across product, marketing, commerce, and services; New capabilities/experiences include, but not limited to, marketplaces, personalized mobile & web purchasing, AR driven sales and support, voice-enabled purchase assistance, and support for Internet of Things (IoT). + Empower all Dell Technologies businesses to utilize, and build on the core commerce platform. The Architecture Team, within DCS, is looking for a few motivated Enterprise Architects to guide the organization through this journey. The team needs individuals with deep omni-channel commerce knowledge to guide and deliver a high-volume, highly personalized, omni-channel commerce experience. Responsibilities The Enterprise Architect understands the business mission, strategy, and processes, and develops an aligned technology strategy, and documents this using multiple architectural models or views that show how the current and future needs of an organization will be met in an efficient, sustainable, agile, and adaptable manner. + Work across Dell Technologies stakeholders – leadership and subject matter experts, to build a holistic view of the organization's strategy, processes, capabilities, information, and commerce technology assets. + Develops a future-state commerce technology vision, aligned to a business vision, and transition states to achieve that technology vision. + Works with other enterprise domains in order to define enterprise-wide capabilities such as common enterprise web services. + Develop a business architecture strategy by aligning DCS roadmaps to ensure end to end requirements and prioritization across the commerce stack. + Partner with development teams across the commerce platform to prioritize commerce wide capabilities, drive architectural standards and governance, and support key initiatives. + Provide insight into commerce capabilities based on market research and best in class software development practices. + Develops content for internal and external audiences relaying product/solution strategies and value propositions, including presentations. A broad, enterprise-wide view of the business, technology ecosystem and appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, and how commerce helps the organization achieve its strategic goals. + The ability to recognize structural issues within the organization, functional interdependencies and cross-silo redundancies. + The ability to apply architectural principles, visualize and create high-level models that can be used in future analysis to extend and mature the enterprise architecture. + Demonstrable ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization. + Must be a Team player with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus. Must be highly reliable, trustworthy, honest, and commitment oriented + Undergraduate degree in computer science, or related degree with a minimum of 12 years of combined enterprise architecture, product management, and software engineering experience, or a Graduate degree with 10+ years of experience. + Proven track record demonstrating ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast paced environment + Quick learner with motivation to learn new technologies and frameworks + Experience working with Commerce technologies or Web Application at Enterprise scale **Dell** is an equal opportunity employer.
