Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for an Enterprise Data warehouse (EDW), Teradata Developer, Application Services Digital & Analytics to be part of a fast-paced, innovative, and highly visible teams building applications for our Digital Health line of business. The position will be located in Providence, RI.

The Teradata Developer will be responsible for development of Analytics solutions on the Enterprise Data warehouse (EDW) which integrates with Enterprise Data Lake and Reporting platforms in an agile and iterative fashion. 


Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in delivery of Data & Analytics applications involving structured and un-structured data on the Teradata platform (ETL, ELT) is essential.
  • Working knowledge of tools like Informatica, Teradata Utilities, Bteq, Mload, Fload, Tpump, Advanced SQL, Viewpoint, etc.
  • Knowledge of best practices in using Consumption tools like Tableau, Qlik, R, etc that interact with Teradata.
  • A commitment and passion for continuous integration, unit tests, and using automation to ensure stable deliverables.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications.
  • Proven ability to work with project managers and stakeholders to help refine and capture software requirements in an iterative fashion. Accurately forecast engineering effort.
  • Ability to work seamlessly as part of a multi-site, multicultural development team.
  • Desire to work in a fast paced, growing, deadline driven, startup-up environment.
  • Experience with Scrum and an Agile Development strongly preferred.
  • Experience with tools like Jira, git, Confluence, etc is preferred.
  • Self-motivated, driven to achieve committed milestones.
  • Extreme attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Strong collaboration skills, ability to mentor and be mentored.
  • BS or MS degree in Computer science or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years professional software development experience.
