Enterprise IT Systems Management Responsibilities:
Provides consultation and direction in the use of technology to meet strategic and tactical business goals for customers and assists with the development and delivery of the proposed solution. Principle solutions include System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), System Center Operations Manager (SCOM), and the Enterprise Mobility Suite (EMS).
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Architect and design the implementation of proposed solutions
Assists with the management and successful completion of project initiatives on-time and within budget; completing project plans and maintaining project schedules
Provide pre-sales technical support, including completing technical aspects of the proposal/statement of work
As the client's trusted advisor, identify and pursue additional opportunities
Transfer knowledge to customers as part of the delivery of services
Mentor less experienced consultants and/or students/interns
Aware of customer desired business outcomes from engagements
Seeks new business opportunities with existing clients; shares ideas with Senior and Principal team members
Assists more senior consultants as requested
Handles routine customer issues; involves higher level consultants appropriately
Ability to travel, overnight up to 25%.
Ability to travel independently to client sites; if by car, a valid driver's license or reliable method of transportation is required.
Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.
Bachelor's degree from four-year college/university or equivalent (3 years) experience/knowledge with SCCM, SCOM, and/or EMS
Deep knowledge of SCCM, SCOM, EMS, or any combination thereof
Has designed and implemented the solution
Advanced knowledge of the solutions capabilities and business benefits
Experience customizing and extending the solutions capabilities
3 years or equivalent work experience/knowledge with the solution(s)
At least 5 years of experience with the following:
Standard networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory users and groups, basic understanding of GPO's
Server OS skills: Installation, Standard usage, Troubleshooting
Client OS skills: Installation, Troubleshooting
Application skills: Understanding of common install types (EXE, MSI, etc.), and basic scripting (BAT/VBS/PowerShell/Other)
Minimum Certification Requirements:
Within twelve months of employment, Consultants are required to hold the MCSE: Private Cloud certification.
As part of the individual's professional development plans (updated at least once/year), additional certifications and skills will be identified and be required for on-going employment.
