Role Summary/Purpose

This role is responsible for supporting platform software development and maintenance of SIMS (Service Information Management System). This position is also responsible for developing and implementing data analytics, feedback and key processes related to SIMS implementation. This role supports technical design and improvement of SIMS components.

Essential Responsibilities

• Supports SIMS Platform Manager in designing new and/or updating existing SIMS modules.

• Provides guidance to SIMS HTML/XML developers to ensure quality designs and tight integration of deliverables.

• Implements as-needed HTML5/Angular design updates to SIMS software components.

• Coordinates with SIMS Platform Operations Lead to optimize use of SIMS system data including form submission data, user interactivity and service documentation using industry standard performance analytics tools and methodologies.

• Provides in-depth XML/JSON knowledge as applies it to software design, documentation structure and forms.

• Responsible for curating SIMS design artifacts.

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Software Development, or a similar field and 5+ year experience writing and editing product documentation

2. Demonstrated familiarity with the Agile development method

3. Demonstrated proficiency in data analytics driven system design and report building

4. Proven ability to work independently and in teams

5. Strong leadership and interpersonal, verbal communication, presentation skills and technical communication skills

6. Ability to understand theories and concepts, and convert them in efficient process or executable rules: high-level thinker and strategic planner

Quality Specific Goals:

1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position

2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines

3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

4. Support compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before completing Design Outputs/Program Deliverables

5. Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible
