BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an Accounting Associate to work out of our Moorestown office.   Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in a fast-growing industry? As an Accounting Associate you will learn many aspects of the Support office through: 1) hands on management and creation of policies and practices, 2) preparing reports, analysis and presentations, and 3) providing administrative and project support to your supervisor. This position is an entry level professional track position and will offer training and continuing education to support a career in management and leadership within BAYADA Home Health Care.

  • Create and manage policies, practices and procedures related to BAYADA support offices
  • Participate in special projects: prepare reports and presentations using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint etc.).
  • Initiate and independently research complex information through compilation of statistics, analyzing data and summarizing for review.
  • Draft and distribute professional correspondence and announcements.
  • Support annual audits and compliance reviews, as needed.
  • Learn various aspects of organization through technology training, hands-on learning, cross-training and site visits.
  • Support the team (office and company) and provide back up as needed.
  • Maintain office(s) organization charts and associated email and call lists.
  • Tax return preparation, including sales & use, personal property, and gross receipts.
  • Input of BAYADA support office accounts payable, ultimately producing the corresponding check payments. Record all payments to subsidiary ledgers, including those made via EFT.
  • Maintain monthly rent payment schedules, ensuring timely payment in accordance with lease provisions.
  • Maintain the Vendor Master File, providing support during 1099 process.
  • Input of fixed assets, as defined through BAYADA policy, into accounting system. Upon request, processing of asset retirements and transfers.
  • Creation of weekly journal entry capturing depreciation of all BAYADA fixed assets.
  • Record weekly support office allocations, charging out wages and associated expenses as directed.
  • Prepare general ledger accruals as part of the weekly/quarterly reporting process.
  • Quarterly general ledger account reconciliations.
  • Respond to internal/external inquiries, furnishing supporting documentation where applicable.





  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • One (1) to three (3) years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior health care and home care experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated record of strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated record of goal achievement. .
  • Competence in basic PC skills required to perform job functions.
