Entry Level Associate of Financial Accounting

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an Associate of Financial Accounting in our Moorestown, NJ office. Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in a fast-growing industry? Under moderate supervision, you will perform a variety of accounting functions, including account reconciliations, financial audit support, and financial analysis.  This position is an entry-level professional track position and will offer training and continuing education to support a career in management and leadership within BAYADA Home Health Care.


As the Associate of Financial Accounting you will:


  • Initiate and independently research complex information through compilation of statistics, analyzing data and summarizing for review.
  • Participate in special projects: prepare reports and presentations using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint etc.).
  • Support annual audit and compliance reviews, as needed.
  • Support Director (and others in the organization, as necessary) in any and all areas of financial analysis, routine and non-routine, including but not limited to:
  1. Data gathering
  2. Presentation of financial data and analysis, both in writing and in person, as necessary.
  3. Investigating and resolving issues
  4. Interpreting financial results
  • Learn various aspects of organization through technology training, hands-on learning, cross-training and site visits.
  • Record weekly journal entries, including allocations and intercompany transactions
  • Reconcile monthly and quarterly general ledger accounts.
  • Demonstrate a solid working knowledge of GAAP and apply such accounting standards and concepts to various responsibilities. .
  • Completion of cost reports, surveys, and other third-party data requests, as required, including data gathering, data analytics and submission to the requiring organization.
  • Demonstrate a healthy sense of professional skepticism; review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports. Strong attention to detail.
  • Perform related duties, or as required or requested by Director of the office.



The qualifications for the Associate of Financial Accounting are:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting.
  • One (1) to three (3) years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) applications and ability to learn various software applications required to perform job functions.
  • Prior health care and home care experience a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and accomplish tasks with limited supervision; be self-motivated, flexible, versatile and creative.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem solving ability.
  • Knowledgeable in compliance with the standard concepts, practices, and procedures of GAAP as well as other company policies and procedures.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, attention to detail and ability to interact effectively with management and prioritize diverse projects for multiple disciplines.
  • Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English.
