Adecco has partnered with a large public utility company in need of an entry level payroll assistant in Jackson, MI.

Qualified applicants possess at least one year of administrative experience and at least one year of customer service. Administrative experience and customer service may be combined.

Responsibilities can include:
• Payroll duties and timesheet duties
• Accounts Payable activities including creation and processing of Purchase Requisitions
• Check requests
• Mail sorting and distribution
• Other similar or related duties
• May require lifting and/or carrying heavy loads (Approx. 5-35lbs)


The successful candidate will possess good computer skills, including the aptitude and ability to learn and use one or more versions of specialized software.

Access
Outlook email system
Detail oriented
Highly motivated
Well-organized
Team oriented
Attitude and aptitude to learn new skills and perform new responsibilities

Skills Preferred:
SAP Front/Back Office

Experience Preferred:
-Some work experience in an administrative or clerical role
-Experience with SAP would be an asset
-Strong customer service background

Education Required: High School degree or equivalent

Education Preferred: Some college
