Entry Level Pharmacy Technician - On-The-Job Training Provided!

The role of the Pharmacy Technician is to work closely with the Pharmacist to ensure that customers receive prompt and courteous service in the Pharmacy Department.
While the role of the Pharmacy Technician may vary slightly from state to state depending on state specific regulations, Pharmacy Technicians often enter and look up information in the computer system, assist with inventory management, complete paperwork, gather outstanding information needed from patient or doctor to fill a prescription and check the customer out at the register.
On-the-job training is provided by Rite Aid, so applicants do not need to pharmacy experience to be qualified. The Pharmacy Technician Program is a 6 month program comprised of computer based training (CBTs), workbook exercises, hands on learning, classroom sessions and culminates in a Final Competency Exam.
Qualified candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends.
