Adecco is assisting a local client in their search to fill multiple Entry Level - Production - Manufacturing jobs in Scotia, NY. These are long-term temporary opportunities. You will be responsible for cleaning and doing simple cosmetic upgrades to cable boxes, wireless modems and cable cords. Cleaning the units involves using blower vacuums and wiping the units down with an all-purpose cleaning agent (Simple Green). If you meet the qualifications listed below please Apply Now!
Responsibilities for this Entry Level - Production - Manufacturing job include:
*Use small hand tools (ex. screw drivers or electric drills) to remove/install covers, replace screens, putting rubber stoppers on the bottom of the units
*Make quick decisions to visually qualify a unit and determine what action needs to be taken
*Use RF handheld scanners to track materials
*Clean cable boxes
*Serve as an operations partner in repairing, troubleshooting, and maintenance
*Maintain a safe working area and ensure equipment is properly maintained
*Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
*Previous warehouse, production, or manufacturing experience is a plus but not required - entry level candidates are encouraged to apply
*Proficient with computers
*Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
First shift Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm
Second shift Monday through Friday 3:45pm to 12:15am
Pay for 1st shift is $10.00/hr plus overtime as needed. Pay for 2nd shift is $10.50/hr plus overtime as needed. This is a long-term temporary opportunity.
