Adecco is currently assisting a leading Tulsa, OK area parts supplier and manufacturer in their search to fill an Equipment Maintenance Technician role in their Tulsa, OK plant. This available position is with an established and growing parts supplier to the eregy, aerospace, and commercial divisions. This is a direct hire role. This role would report to the Maintenance Manager and would directly supervise and coordinate the activities of maintaining, repairing, and rebuilding various production machines, support equipment and facilities. Inspect and monitor work areas, examine tools and equipment, and provide employee safety training to prevent, detect, and correct unsafe conditions or violations of procedures and safety rules.
Requisition materials and supplies, such as tools, equipment, or replacement parts.
Inspect, test, and measure completed work, using devices such as hand tools or gauges to verify conformance to standards or repair requirements.
Assist in the development, implementation, or evaluation of maintenance policies and procedures.
Compute estimates and actual costs of factors such as materials, labor, or outside contractors.
Examine objects, systems, or facilities and analyze information to determine needed installations, services, or repairs.
Monitor tool and part inventories and the condition and maintenance of shops to ensure adequate working conditions.
Perform skilled repair or maintenance operations, using equipment such as hand or power tools, hydraulic presses or shears, or welding equipment.
Interpret specifications, blueprints, or job orders to construct templates and lay out reference points for workers.
Develop or implement electronic maintenance programs or computer information management systems.
Oversee all maintenance functions to ensure proper safe preventive maintenance of physical plant and all operating equipment
Implement and maintain TPM program throughout facility.
Responsible for scheduling and directing outside services used in supporting equipment and facilities.
Prefer an Associate's Degree (two year college or technical school) Required, Field of
5 plus years of experience in machine mechanical maintenance
Minimum 5 years in repair and support with experience in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures that pertain to the manufacturing industry.
