e-Source and Patient Technologies group lead

This position is responsible for providing leadership, strategic thinking, team management and expert execution for the Information Management e-Source and Patient Technology team. Incumbent will partner with Business Technology and other business stakeholders to ensure related activities are fulfilled with data integrity according to defined requirements and timelines. This role is responsible for the implementation and management of Electronic Patient Reported Out-comes (ePro) and other Electronic Source (eSource) related strategies throughout Pfizer Global Research and Development. The position would lead the Patient Technologies (PT) and eSource team, a division of Information Management, to assist in the development of process, policy and resources for usage of assigned technologies by clinical study teams. The role will be required to take ownership of new and ongoing projects within the overall initiative. While engaging a variety of stakeholders and customer groups to ensure study teams are enabled to consume eSource and ePRO data in clinical studies efficiently, consistently and with the highest quality and lowest regulatory risk. Consideration of technologies allied and parallel to the use of electronic medical record data would also be required. This role demands the ability to lead a team and liaise with business stakeholders and technical groups to provide/review impact assessments of complex business requirements. Direct and lead business and technical changes which include the identification and improvement of processes and applications to mitigate risk and impact. Work both autonomously on assigned work items, as well as being a member of a strongly interactive team. Skill set of potential candidates must include expertise in process development and successful history of project execution and delivery, as well as the following areas: Lead Pfizer's overall implementation efforts for eSource activities Drive initiatives to standardize elements of ePRO, eSource, and Mobile usage across Pfizer's vendor panel Research allied technologies, vendor services to develop and form a future vision of patient-based technology and eSource usage within Pfizer. Interact as directed with Business/Research Units to identify specific needs for ePRO and eSource support. Engage external resources as required to develop group ePRO and eSource knowledge. Conduct independent needs-based research to expand Patient Technologies knowledge, and determine how technology implementation fits within boundaries of the overarching strategy and regulations. Provide solutions to complex operations' issues and communicate these solutions in an influential manner to relevant stakeholders resulting in appropriate decisions Lead and Maintain a collaborative program of continuous improvement within the organization Lead and Contribute as appropriate to overall training program and collaborate with business Participate in development of solution test strategies and author/execute user acceptance testing during system releases to ensure high quality of systems Participate in and lead quality oriented projects intended to ensure high quality data in our regulatory tracking systems Expertise in Electronic Health Record systems and related data PRO Technologies Data Management Change management A career at Pfizer offers opportunity, ownership and impact.
