Job Description:
At CCG we empower the world with the best personal computing experiences. The CCG EV Tools Team is responsible for delivering tools which enable OEM, ODM and internal customers to validate the electrical performance of their new and cutting edge platforms.

In this role you will have an in-depth knowledge of the EV tools Intel provides to key OEM customers and you will provide these customers with direct tool support. Examples of such support include educating the customer on the usage of the tool, assisting with data collection and debugging tool issues the customer may experience. When not providing direct customer support you will working as a software developer within the tools development team. As a software developer you will be responsible for implementing customer specific features and testing the tool on the customer's specific hardware and operating system. Additional tasks as a software developer include creating robust, reliable, and high performance applications that satisfy both internal and external customer requirements. You will create and run test suites to prove the functionality, reliability, and performance of the applications you develop. You will also provide expert level support to CCG EV product owners and technicians on use of these applications. Your tasks will include: designing, developing, testing and deploying applications (working in all tiers of the application) , working closely with the customers, project managers, product owners and other developers while working in an Agile Methodology Environment.
You should possess a minimum of Bachelor or Masters degree in a technical field with 10 years of relevant industry experience. Additional to this, successful candidates will possess:

Experience in software design/development platform using C, C , Python and x86 Assembly language
Experience with Object Oriented Programming,
Experience with Graphical UI development a plus
Knowledge of software engineering practices, source control management, testing methodologies
Demonstrate experience in software troubleshooting/debugging skills
Familiar with Agile methods (Scrum, Extreme Programming) is a plus
Experience with providing customer support is a plus
Familiarity with Intel x86 architecture and PC IO Interface specifications such as PCI, USB2.0/3.0,Thunderbolt, Memory etc.
Expertise in BIOS and firmware development
Working knowledge of Windows and MacOS operating systems.
