Adecco's Direct Hire Recruiting team seeks a motivated & outgoing ENTRY-LEVEL Event Sales Coordinator with 1-3 years' experience MAX in retail sales, customer service, brand promotions, outbound sales or event marketing sales (internship experience acceptable!) for our client, a reputable hospitality & entertainment brand, spanning hundreds of venues nationwide, with an immediate opening in Minneapolis, MN (Eden Prairie, Lakeville, Blaine, Brooklyn Park).
This is a great opportunity in showcasing your ability to turn party plans into events! This hired individual will need a balance of customer service, sales, project management, and a hint of online-tech support skills to assist throughout the planning process and ensure the event matches the client's vision! You must love being on the phone, interacting with clients in person, negotiating sales contracts, upselling services & making money within a fast-paced and fun-filled, team-environment!

A day in the life of an Event Sales Coordinator:
You are driven by reaching sales goals & are not afraid to upsell.
Your primary focus is to support the clients as they book event spaces online and via phone.
You know about every benefit and distinctive property regarding the various spaces to showcase to the client.
Phone and email will be your primary communication tool as customers will continuously inquire about the space and how it may accommodate their group.
You will need to quickly respond to every inquiry, so as to not lose a potential client.
Coordination skills are imperative for this role as you will collaborate with multiple on-site Event Hosts & Operations Managers as they ensure the events are organized as per client request.
Basic tech skills to describe website navigation while on the phone with a client, or troubleshoot basic errors.
What you will need in order to succeed in this role:
Bachelor's Degree: Ideally in Hospitality, Business Management or Communications
Prior experience within a sales and customer interfacing role (hospitality, food industry, retail, etc.).
