Adecco's Direct Hire Recruiting team seeks a motivated & outgoing Event Sales Coordinator with 1-3 years' experience in retail sales, customer service, brand promotions, outbound sales or event marketing sales (internship experience acceptable!) for our client, a large hospitality & entertainment brand in Lone Tree, CO.

This is a great opportunity to showcase your ability to turn party plans into events. This employee will need a balance of customer service, sales, project management, and a hint of online tech support skills to assist throughout the planning process, and ensure the event is exactly how the client has envisioned!


While this is an entry-level sales & client service role, the company offers rapid growth potential for anyone with a strong drive and ability to go above and beyond their goals. This is a great stepping stone for someone looking to direct their career within sales, marketing, or operations in the event planning & hospitality industry.

A day in the life of an Event Sales Coordinator:

You are driven by reaching sales goals & are not afraid to upsell
Your primary focus is to support the clients as they book event spaces online and via phone
You know about every benefit and distinctive properties about the various spaces to showcase to the client
Phone and email will be your primary communication tool as customers will continuously inquire about the space and how it may accommodate their group
You will need to quickly respond to every inquiry so as to not lose a potential client
Coordination skills is imperative for this role as you will collaborate with multiple on-site Event Planners as they show the spaces and ensure the events are organized as the client has requested
Basic tech skills to describe website navigation while on the phone with a client, or troubleshoot basic errors

What you will need in order to succeed in this role:

Bachelor's Degree - ideally in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or Hospitality
Prior experience within a customer interfacing role (hospitality, food industry, retail, etc)


Must love being on the phone, interacting with clients in person, negotiating sales contracts, upselling services & making money in a team-environment while having fun! If you have experience with retail sales & are looking to leap into a corporate sales role, this may be the perfect time to do that.
