The Senior Events Advisor is responsible for the building and execution of the Executive Briefing Program. The Senior Events Advisor will be responsible for coordinating this program within North America and developing the program to be replicated in EMEA and APJ, working with counterparts to ensure its integrity and success. They will also maintain and support our speaker’s bureau with training and process as well as support the events team on other events and programs as needed. This role reports into the SecureWorks North American Geo Marketing Organization.
-Manage program strategy and direction ensuring continuous improvements to the customer experience
-Work directly with sales to plan and execute Executive Briefings
-Work and communicate directly with C-level clients
-Consult with individual sales teams and subject matter experts to deliver relevant, targeted content specific to each unique event
-Use salesforce.com and project management tool to manage process
-Develop, maintain and update a Briefing Book for clients
-Maintain scheduling for all speakers and interested parties
-Analyze program results and make recommendations for future improvements
-Plan & scale program to meet increasing demand & portfolio growth
-Support Events team with events and programs supporting all Sales teams and departments
-Work with hotels and venues to coordinate rates, contracts and events
-Maintain speaker training program with 3rdparty consultants
-Work with speakers for ongoing training program
-Develop effective, collaborative relationships interdepartmentally
-Organize the Speakers Bureau, maintain bios and headshots, and develop more efficient processes internally
As a managed security provider, SecureWorks expects its employees to understand and apply commonly known security practices and possess a working knowledge of applicable industry controls such as NIST 800-53. Employees will be expected to acknowledge their security responsibilities in writing prior to gaining access to company systems. Employees will be required to maintain a working knowledge of local security policies and execute general controls as assigned.
-5 to 8 years’ experience with planning and executing corporate events
-Proven experience working with sales teams and supporting programs to drive awareness and demand generation and with working with Executives, Speakers and Clients
-Onsite experience managing large events
-Experience with planning and executing organic events
-Knowledge of marketing tools and skills needed to market events and drive demand
-Proven experience with measuring the success of events
-Experience working with a speakers bureau and speaking programs
-Highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment and is readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements
