SUMMARY:

Position is responsible for retrieving ISNP local market requests for NOMNCs from shared email box, accurately processing NOMNC in ELGS via Care One, and providing accurate facility contact information for faxing NOMNC.
This position is responsible for logging each NOMNC sent and confirmation of delivery in an Excel master tracking grid.
In addition, the position is responsible for retrieving NOMNCs returned from the facilities to Right Fax, evaluating if valid delivery of the NOMNC per CMS guidelines is included, and documenting findings in master grid and in EMR (Care One).
Also responsible for answering phone calls from markets and facility providers, answering questions about letters issued, or redirecting to proper Optum personnel as necessary.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High school graduate or GED
1+ year of customer service experience
1-2 years of related work experience, including data entry
Effective communication and customer service skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; i.e. Word, Excel, and Outlook
Desired - Self-starter, with demonstrated initiative and problem solving skills
Desired - experience with Care One



Shift Times: 8AM to 4:30PM, Monday thru Friday (CST)


This is a 6+ month contract-to-hire assignment.
