The Executive Sales Director primarily responsible for selling revenue cycle management and clinical solutions to large physician organizations including hospital based practices, academic medical centers and other healthcare entities that perform third party and patient billing. The Executive Sales Director is responsible to meet and exceed the assigned quota within a geographic territory and development of the client relationship at all levels. The Sales Executive demonstrates solutions relating to business aspects of the healthcare market to include product/solution demonstrations, cold calling, presentations, contract negotiations and closing.
Location: Remote/Telecommuter position. Must be based in a major metro area in the Western U.S. and be willing to do extensive overnight travel.
Meet and/or exceed all assigned quotas and all performance goals; manage assigned territory independently, develop a pipeline of qualified prospects and engage in a consultative sales process with them.
Develop lead generation process within territory through use of existing tools and resources ( i.e. our internal prospecting staff, marketing department programs, and use of our outsourced “cold calling” organization). Create individualized lead generation methods and use personal industry connections.
Effectively manage all relevant sales activities including but not limited to pipe line, strategy, cross departmental issues to achieve objectives.
Provide timely and complete reporting information on the status of the sales plan, pipeline and sales progress as determined by executive management.
Maintain industry and product knowledge, adapting to changes in the market/competition.
8+years new account sales experience
Minimum of 8-12 years sales related experience with strong healthcare services sales experience and an established record of achieving an annual quota of $3M+.
Experience in selling revenue cycle/billing services to hospital employed physician practices
Strong physician practice management knowledge and experience
Strong cold-calling and prospecting skills
Demonstrated consultative sales strategies and process
4-year degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
Over 60% overnight travel required
