Current Need

Position Description

Supports facilities staff by performing maintenance duties such as:

  •        Repair and maintain mechanical conveyance systems of all types and sizes to ensure the  conveyors are running at peak operability.
  •        Analyze, repair, and program PLC controlled automation in a timely and concise manner.
  •        Install, troubleshoot and repair simple LAN based networks components such as routers,  switches, port expanders, and handheld communication devices.
  •        Maintenance of office equipment
  •        Spot cleaning, painting or light construction
  •        Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors on facility and equipment repairs
  •        Ability to download and upload PLC programs, and troubleshoot PLC functions.
  •        Ability to work with control circuits using such devices as photo eyes, solenoid valves,  limit switches, indication lights, and safety switches.
  •          Ability to carry 20-100 pounds
  •         Ability to set up and analyze RS232/R2422 communications between computers and peripheral devices. 


Minimum Requirements
1+ years facilities engineering experience

Critical Skills

  •        Background in electronic/electrical technology a must.
  •      Must have working knowledge of C++ application software and its inter-workings.
  •        Must have the flexibility to work evening shift as needed 

Additional Knowledge & Skills
Some knowledge of facilities engineering; Oral communication skills, visual acuity, and manual dexterity

HS Diploma or Equivalent


Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry 20 - 100 lbs
