Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a nonexempt technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.
As an Intel Environmental Health and Safety Engineer intern, you will play a significant role in helping to develop the world's most revolutionary processors. You will join an elite group who work at our high-tech fabrication facilities worldwide, using state-of-the-art manufacturing processes and tools.
Our Industrial Hygienist, Safety Engineers and Environmental Engineers make a big impact by defining criteria and implementing programs to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and monitoring the work environments of our employees.

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:
• Strong communication skills
• Good Troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent team work and collaboration skills.
- Candidate must be pursuing a BS degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering or Ergonomics.
- Must have unrestricted right to work in the US without requiring sponsorship.
- 3 months of experience in Environmental Compliance, OSHA, NIOSH and ACGIH policies or working towards becoming a Certified Industrial Hygienist. (CIH).
- 3 months with demonstrated application of sound engineering principles and technical problem solving.
