Overview of General Responsibilities:
Lead site distribution operational processes. Drive logistics cost reduction through optimization of inbound/primary transportation a nd factory warehouse operations. Manage site distribution labor pool including daily crew coverage.
Customer service improvement through warehouse and transportation loss reduction using WCM tools and methodology.
Also, Carbon reduction through factory warehouse improvements, transportation efficiencies, and external collaboration activities. Execute product group and site logistics strategy.
Overview of Daily/Weekly/Monthly Duties:
• Responsible for tactical factory logistics operations at Independence, including outbound shipment schedule adherence, inbound off loading and put away, and line supply
• Accountable to deliver daily schedule adherence, logistics cost savings, customer service, and inventory accuracy at the Independence site
• Implement process improvement through operational scorecards and WCM methods
• Execute the product group and site level factory logistics strategy
• Support internal and external operational bench marking activities
•Execution of standardized logistics EwM / SAP systems, processes, and KPI’s. Customer service improvement through warehouse and transportation loss reduction using WCM tools and methodology
Education & Training:
Bachelors Degree Preferred.
3 years work experience with a clear competence in Logistics and Supply Chain. Strong understanding of warehousing and transportation, manufacturing, product deployment, and order to cash processes
- Inventory Management, Customer Service, Logistics and/or Supply Chain Planning knowledge
- Operational Knowledge of Warehouse and Transportation Processes
- Optimizing Supply Chain Integrated Performance
