The Federal Certification Program Management Office (PMO) provides guidance, coordination, information and support to Dell EMC business leaders and product development teams about product certifications required to sell solutions to the US Federal Government. The PMO tracks and communicates federal certifications across the Dell EMC portfolio and assists product development teams through planning and certification phases of the product lifecycle. 
This opportunity is for a team member to act as a SME for DoDIN-APL across the Dell and Dell EMC product portfolios.  
Role Responsibilities
-Develop an understanding of Dell's strategic business objectives and business unit operations 
-Support the full product lifecycle from ideation through launch.  Work cross-functionally to gain buy-in, support, and assistance in achieving DoDIN-APL listing
-Assist product group in determining applicability of DoDIN-APL for a given solution
-Assist product group with gap analysis of product to certification requirements
-Work closely with STIG hardening team for product readiness
-Participate in DoDIN/DISA/UCCO/UCR community to ensure Dell is well aware of and well positioned for future program changes
-Lead product group/certification lab discussions/relationship
-Escalates matters of business risk
-Influences others through their professional/technical expertise 
-Presents facts and information to negotiate mutually acceptable solutions 
-Delegates clearly and comfortably 
-Responds to changing project circumstances and communicates issues to project leadership
-Takes a flexible, team player approach, willing to "pitch in" whenever and wherever needed
-Manages relationships up to the Executive Director level with minimum oversight
Requirements
-US Citizen
-Preferred location near Ft. Huachuca, AZ - or frequent travel to this location.
-Bachelor's Degree with strong background in driving large, high impact strategic programs/projects 
-Undergraduate degree and 8-10 years relevant experience or Graduate degree and 6-8 years relevant experience
-In-depth understanding of DoDIN-APL process 
-In depth understanding of DISA STIG, NIST SP 800-53 Security Controls, ISO 2700.1 standards
-Direct work experience leading large and complex global programs and change management 
-Excellent verbal, written and conversational skills
-Critical thinking and problem solving skills required 
-Proficient with Excel, Word, and Power Point required 
-Project management and facilitation skills required
