Basic Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science, or related discipline
  • At least 10 years overall experience.
  •  Work with the customer to identify patterns of business activity in order to understand the levels of demand that will be placed on a service (as provided by our client). Understand the differences between user profiles (different groups of users and LOBs within clients customers) in order to understand/align service provider business with these customers
  • Perform Capacity forecasting and scheduling activities for clients and have the ability to coach clients through the process or similar related requirements gathering and needs forecasting (2 years)
  • Able to classify Capacity needs and demand into categories based on characteristics need for Capacity model input
  • Codifying Data Center Capacity to determine capabilities and resources needed
  • Administering Capacity management tools and models or similar complex modeling (2 years)
  • Lead internal team reviews of related work products (2 years) 
  • Ability to understand business processes and procedures (2 years)
  • Strong analytical skills (4 years)
  • Knowledge of Capacity management process
  • Good documentation and presentation skills (written and verbal) (5 years)
  • Demonstrate customer focus
  • Organizational Skills: Can plan and prioritize work, both their own and that of project team. Follows tasks to their logical conclusion and makes sure that everything has been done to the right standard. Good attention to detail.

  • Communications: Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently to team members and clients, verbally and in writing. Able to present ideas in a variety of ways depending upon audience and context. Excellent active listening skills.
  • Quantitative Management: Ability to determine process measures and track to determine process effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Problem Solving: Natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics. Ability to analyze problems and determine root cause, generating alternatives, evaluating and selecting alternatives and implementing solutions.
  • Results oriented: Able to drive things forward regardless of personal interest in the task.

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
