Responsible for assisting with internal and external communications and events for the Division ensuring message is consistent and representative of whom we are as an organization. Will participate in the implementation of communications to execute marketing and/or product initiatives to internal and external customers. Helps support the building of Spectrum Reach’s reputation for creativity, insights, and customer service. Supports efforts and messaging with trade media, client solicitation, lead generation, social media and direct mail initiatives for the division. Also helps execute Spectrum Reach events and sponsorships in close coordination with the Regional Field Marketing teams and Regional/Divisional leadership team. Assists with market requests, outside partner speaker requests as well as planning and participation at customer-facing events that align with the strategic plans for enterprise and divisional goals.
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
Works under the direction of the Communications and Events Managers to deliver integrated communications strategies and events supporting the Division, Region and Market level. Helps with internal and external brand and communications requests.
Participates in local event and promotions designed to raise awareness of Spectrum Reach messaging at key events helping to generate demand.
Actively and consistently participates in helping to facilitate relevant messaging and positioning of Spectrum Reach brand and communication initiatives. May help with preparing announcements, articles and other materials geared to internal and external customers.
Assist leadership with the planning of local public relations including speaking and interview opportunities. May participate in the planning of or onsite facilitation of client promotion events.
Will help promote Spectrum Reach brand and business, new products, initiatives, improvements and general information across multiple platforms.
Responsible for localizing and updating marketing materials (market overviews, fact sheets, case studies, newsletters and other sales tools) as needed to support the field.
Support market-level networking opportunities for sales leadership on a monthly basis.
-Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications or related field or equivalent experience. Marketing experience a plus.
-2-5 years in communications or promotions/events related position
-Travel may be required within the region from time to time.
-Advanced knowledge of Cable Television, digital products and advanced advertising products is preferred as is intermediate knowledge of marketing strategies, procedures and best practices
-Intermediate knowledge of creative solutions, including digital, on-line solutions, and the use of new technology in designing creative solutions
