Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. is recruiting for a Field Operations Senior Supervisor and will be primarily located in Raynham, MA; considerations will be made for Piscataway, NJ; Paoli, PA; Monument, CO; Warsaw, IN; Palm Beach Gardens, FL

Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. provides account management and customer support services to key health care customers, including hospital systems and group purchasing organizations, leading health plans, pharmacy benefit managers, and government health care institutions. The company also provides contract management, logistics and supply chain functions for the major Johnson & Johnson franchises.
Johnson & Johnson Customer Logistics Services (CLS) is a global Supply Chain organization that supports operating units across all of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies.  Specifically, Customer Services and Logistics (CLS) represent all Customer Experience, Distribution, Transportation, and Channel management for the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies. This organization represents three separate sectors of the Johnson & Johnson Organization: Medical Device & Diagnostics, Pharmaceutical, and Consumer Products.  This team is represented in multiple countries, and continues to grow global visibility and responsibility.   The CLS team reports to the broader Johnson & Johnson Global Supply Chain Organization and partners closely with peer groups throughout Global Supply Chain
Field Operations Senior Supervisor Responsibilities:
Designing and executing strategies for the effective distribution and retrieval of Orthopedics sets to meet field surgical demands
Creating process flows and work instructions ensuring compliance to newly created processes
Driving continuous improvement plans to reduce inventory and improve operating costs
Improving instrument and implant inventory deployment utilization thru the development of required policies and technologies
Managing remote sites and for developing an internal organization of high performing associates
Fostering relationships with Distribution, 3PL, Supply Chain, Field Audit/Inventory, and Sales (Commercial Ops.) to deliver Franchise business results
Liaison between Depuy Synthes Commercial Operations and the Sales Force to ensure partnership and communication
Providing Project support for implementation of process improvements
Conducting training of new resources and cross training for current team members
Communicating in all directions to keep coordinators, peers, and Management informed of project status, process changes, and opportunities
Providing leadership to the team in support of business initiatives
Initiating and implementing process improvements and projects
Adhering to quality controls processes and service quality guidelines
Thinking and communicating cross-functionally to investigate research and resolve all exceptions and adjustments promptly and accurately including any necessary coordination with other internal departments and all required customer follow-up in a self-directed manner
Remaining current with and apply internal and operating companies’ policies & procedures
Interacting internally with the sales force and management, commercial partners, regional supply chain leaders, Quality, logistics partners, CLS employees, support functions (HR, IT, Finance), Worldwide Transportation, etc.
Interacting externally with J&J Affiliates, industry partners, and third-party transportation vendors
Addressing more complex issues, makes recommendations and escalates to management as needed

Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree required 
Minimum of six (6) years of experience required
Demonstrated understanding of Orthopedics and business processes needed to achieve results required
Demonstrated understanding of the needs of the sales organization and of external customers to ensure field and customer satisfaction is required
Collaborating with supervisors to identify strengths and development areas, and implementing personal development plans required
Accepting constructive feedback and participating in continuous learning required
Demonstrated flexibility and implementing innovative ways to enhance the way work is done required
Organizing the workspace, prioritizing activities and managing time effectively to achieve goals is required
Ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems, issues and situations required
Ability to effectively use MS Office products for business purposes is required
Experience with franchise ERP systems and reporting preferred
LEAN Six Sigma and/or process excellence experience preferred
Previous people management experience preferred
Position will require up to 25% domestic travel required
