The Field Sales Applications Engineer will be part of the Cisco Global Account Team. Team Cisco is a high energy, high output, results driven and highly collaborative team environment. This role will be part of our datacenter sales team and will be focused on increasing our footprint in Cisco's networking business including low end routing, switching, enterprise wireless access, and 5G.

Job Description: This is a commissioned sales position. Responsible for managing the relationship between Intel and customers by establishing and cultivating relationships with key individuals at accounts. Develop relationships with distributors and engage distributor resources in support of assigned accounts. Identify and develop new opportunities within assigned accounts. Ensure that goals are consistent with Intel's strategic direction of: (1) maximizing the business with assigned accounts over the short and long-term and (2) increasing the preference for Intel architectures among assigned customers. Responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned annual billings and design win quotas in conjunction with the Field Applications Engineer. Communicate strategies to appropriate field and factory personnel to obtain required support and coordination. Develop a clear understanding of Intel's business practices including pricing, forecasting, terms and conditions, distribution and code of ethics.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications

-BSEE/MS, MBA
-5 years of technical sales and marketing experience

-Deep knowledge of DCG strategy, objectives and value proposition

Additional Profile Characteristics Preferred
-A positive attitude and willingness to collaborate is a must have!
-Executive peering and relationship management experience
-Understanding of Enterprise Server, Cloud, Big Data, Networking, NFV and IOT market initiatives. Knowledge of Cisco strategy in these areas a plus
-Proven ability to work autonomously and leverage team members as required
-Proven ability to work with SMG counterparts in EMEAR, APJ & PRC
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
